Nikola Lekic, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity specialist. Dr. Lekic graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami. He received additional fellowship training to specialize in adult and pediatric hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas under the guidance of both orthopaedic and plastic surgeons. Dr. Lekic’s training with plastic surgeons provided him the expertise of small incisions, aesthetic wound closures, and understanding and managing complex soft tissue problems.
