Howell L. Watkins Middle

H.L. Watkins is now an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme candidate school. In an IB MYP school, students connect what they learn to “real life” through global contexts, learn a world language, and develop attributes of the Learner Profile such as being an inquirer, knowledgeable, and caring. The IB MYP is for students in 6th through 10 grade; students in the IB MYP at H.L. Watkins continue to WT Dwyer HS, where they have the opportunity to enroll in the prestigious IB Diploma Programme for 11th and 12th grade.
