Dr. Steve Edens graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma and earned his medical degree cum laude from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He was selected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, a prestigious medical honor society. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he served as chief resident. Practicing general ophthalmology, he treats a wide variety of ocular diseases. He also performs various ophthalmic procedures including cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, strabismus surgery, and blepharoplasty. Steve is Board Certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology.
